  • 🎨 Black Jacket Symphony

    19:00 · The Midland Theatre

    Arts Music
    View original ↗

One of Rock's Greatest Albums. One Night. One Historic Stage. What to Expect The Music: Black Jacket Symphony performs every note of The Wall with precision and passion. From the haunting opening of "In the Flesh?" to the cathartic finale of "Outside the Wall," this is The Wall as intended—fully realized, emotionally raw, and undeniably powerful. The Venue: The Midland Theatre's Spanish Revival architecture, with its ornate details and intimate scale, creates something special. You're not watching a show from a distance—you're experiencing a cultural artifact in a space that honors both history and artistry. Why The Wall Still Matters Nearly 45 years after its release, The Wall remains startlingly relevant. It's an album about disconnection in a hyper-connected age, about the walls we build to protect ourselves, about the cost of creating distance. It's angry and introspective, bombastic and vulnerable. It asks hard questions and refuses easy answers. Roger Waters' lyrics cut deep. David Gilmour's guitar soars. The production—monumental in scope—surrounds you. This is more than nostalgia. This is art that matters. A Note on Experience Come prepared to feel something. The Wall isn't background music—it's a journey. It demands your attention, your emotional openness, your willingness to sit with discomfort. Whether you've lived with The Wall since 1979 or you're discovering it for the first time, this performance will show you why it endures.

  • 🍻 GEORGE THOROGOOD and THE DESTROYERS

    19:00 · The Midland Theatre

    Arts Food & Drink Music
    View original ↗

If you’re calling your tour The Baddest Show On Earth, you’d better have the talent, the passion, and the stage-shaking, roof-raising, guitar-snarling velocity to back it up. George Thorogood & The Destroyers deliver all that and then some. “Our job description is ‘Live Rock Performers’,” says George Thorogood. “And when we hit town, that town stays hit.” Trust the man who speaks from experience: For the past 53 years and 8000+ shows, Thorogood and his longtime Destroyers – Jeff Simon (drums), Bill Blough (bass), Jim Suhler (guitar) and Buddy Leach (saxophone) – have remained among the most beloved/formidable live acts on the planet. And in 2026, the continuation of their Baddest Show On Earth Tour is the nightly proof. “The All-American Rock & Roll Party Band” (Goldmine Magazine) still perform classics like ‘One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer’, ‘Move It On Over’, ‘Who Do You Love?’, ‘I Drink Alone’, ‘Get A Haircut’ and ‘Bad To The Bone’ with the trademark swagger and musical muscle that famously led Rolling Stone to once declare, “George Thorogood & The Destroyers play rock & roll hot enough to melt the polar icecaps and flood the world’s major population centers.” And whether it’s been their legendary 50 States/50 Days Tour, landmark performances at Live Aid and on SNL, opening club dates for Muddy Waters and stadium shows for The Rolling Stones, or recent smash tours with John Fogerty, ZZ Top and Sammy Hagar, the band recognizes the timeless impact of a great concert. “Before we ever recorded a record, we were a touring band,” George says. “Even after selling 15 million albums, we’re still a touring band. Touring isn’t just in our blood; it’s the reason we exist.” But in a career which has seen him recently receive such monumental tributes as The B.B. King Award from The Montreal International Jazz Festival, being made honorary members of The Bo Diddley Centennial Committee, and being invited to perform at The Grand Ole Opry, are there any milestones left for Thorogood to achieve? “The only question I ask myself is, ‘Do you know how lucky you are to still do what you love for a living?’, George says with a laugh. “Every night is another chance to deliver the best show of our lives and a new audience to send home believing in the power of rock & roll. And that’s the baddest success of all.”

    19:00 · The Midland Theatre

    Arts Music Sports
    View original ↗

Hailing from the rugged coast of Northern Ireland, Rend Collective has always believed that worship should feel more like a celebration than a performance. From their earliest days gathering on beaches and in living rooms to now leading worship across the world, the band has held tightly to one mission: to joyfully share the good news of Jesus through authentic, Spirit-filled worship. Since the release of their debut Organic Family Hymnal, Rend Collective has grown from a small worshipping community into a global voice, amassing over 1 billion career streams, and multiple gold and platinum selling singles, including fan favorites like “My Lighthouse,” “Counting Every Blessing,” and “Build Your Kingdom Here.” Their catalog also includes the international worship anthem “Hallelujah Anyway,” which has resonated deeply with churches around the world. The group’s breakout single “Build Your Kingdom Here” became an early global anthem, and their momentum carried into a historic run of chart-topping albums. The Art of Celebration debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart, followed by several additional No. 1 records including As Family We Go, Good News, and Campfire. Known for their energetic, folk-infused worship, Rend Collective has toured with major artists such as Chris Tomlin, MercyMe, Hillsong UNITED, Kari Jobe, and Lecrae, all while preserving a sound rooted in joy, community, and honest storytelling. Across albums like As Family We Go (2015), Campfire II (2016), Good News (2017), Choose to Worship (2020), Whosoever (2022), and FOLK! (2024), Rend Collective continues to evolve musically while staying true to the heart of their ministry: hope, simplicity, and the wide-open welcome of Jesus.
